Hey all, I'm on my way to making a new crotch rocket motorcycle for second life, and the first thing I started on, because I thought it was obviously one of the most important parts of the motorcycle - the tires. Lucky me. I Created a tire in a little under 1 hour using a tutorial using a single tread going across width-wise, and then using a bezier circle to wrap that tread into a tire. Is there a tool in Second life in game that will allow me to take that tread and wrap it into a circle again emulating a bezier circle or better yet is there a way for me to export the full tire, not just the 1 tread , create a seam and make a sculpted Prim texture map for import directly into game. (Because when you goto editmode, in the mode you would select all and Wrap the UV, you only see a single tread, not the whole tire, as the Bezier Circle is not included.)

I would much rather prefer to use a 3d modeled tire prim than to use a cylinder with a tire texture, as I'm aiming for higher quality.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me :) and Merry Christmas!

I am sure there is a neato way to import a sculpty tire....but most bikes in SL use a tourus for tires. I think one will even take the texture the way you are describing, without having to remap it.

Best of luck and merry xmas.
