OpFor has started a line of vehicles (models by Bonecrusher and Ramon; Scripts by Lance LeFay) that can damage eachother.
With this new system, we are bringing combat beyond the borders of jessie and to the rest of the continent. there are surrently three vehicles for sale, in oak grove:
Hummer: Health-200 Damage-10 per shot cost-400L$ T-62 Tank Health-500 Damage-100 per shot Cost-450L$ Demolisher Tank Health-1500 Damage-200 per shot(dual cannons) Cost-1000L$
We will hopefully add a hummer with a rocket, an M113 APC, an M1 Abrams, and a daimler scout car soon.Other possible vehicles are an Artillery Carrier, and a Manned Turret. We are working on three infantry units also, which will be sold by Lance.

I comapre this system to Akar, but it is not contained within Mocha, You will be able to rez your vehicles anywhere.

aha, i thought that your game used stats that were going to be displayed somewhere within Akar, so you had to be within range of them. Are you out of your Alpha testing phase yet? i want to see Akar in action.

I saw these vehicles at the market and vehicle sims. I Haven't used one so cant comment on the scripting but the models are great! Nice work guys  ) Anyone working on military aircraft or is that pushing it? I am going to model an apache this weekend and am currently working on a humvee. Better late than never I guess  Texture were awesome too btw. i cant find any good ones! any pointers ?

I saw some biplane fighters in the vehicle sims a few days back. I can't remember who made them.

Garth Fairlight has some biplane dogfighters, and I have a biplane, but it has no combat script.

LOL, Bone, I have been using that but had no lick thusfar  But i have to say i usually get half way through before closing the web page in frustration.  ) I think i had a great idea though and may be coming around in the desert camo versions soon so as to not conflict with the forest ones you made. Variety rules, eh? Corny

I have brainstormed a little, and i have decided to expand the game even more, these are the following changes: BUILDINGS: BARRAKS- where you get infnatry wweapons and where inf gets respawned(possibly) WEAPONS FACTORY: this is where you get tanks, hummers and APC's HQ- you must defend this, the "war" is won when the enemy HQ is defeated TURRETS- manned stationary guns, what more to say? SUPPLY DEPOT- will give out X credits every X seconds to everyone in X range AB- a foreward base, wheren you can get respaned(possibly) and you can get Inf weapons AB(Fortified)- after a certain amount of time, the AB will be able to have several turrets, and you will be able to get light vehicles here. POWER PLANT- if destroyed, things become more expensive, turrets stop working
Vehicles bought with the game money, Credits, will simply die after a few seconds of burning, instead of reactivating.
POSSIBLE LINDEN SUPPORT: It would be great if we could get a sim or two to put this in ^.^

You are making a regular Command and Conquer within SL. If you need modeling help let me know. I'm sure Ramon and Bone would appreciate the help (Wink...Wink..) I can model pretty good, but cant script to save my life. Sounds like it would be a FUN project.
