Im building from the inside? Its a huge one piece prim. I can see the tower I added but not the house. I even put a texture on it thinking that was the problem but it isnt. I checked physical thinking that might be it but no. Second Life is curiouser and curiouser.

*also when I click the tower the house vibrates and shakes like theres a major earthquake happening. It moves away from the tower till I click on the house then it stops. I dont understand this. I cant even adjust the tower to get it linked to the house.
Ok, now the house just blew right out of the sandbox much like the house in the wizard of oz. Very odd I must say.

So, you mean that you're standing inside a solid prim (presumably phantom) and it disappears? That's normal, the inside of the volume doesn't get any texture. If you want to see something when you are inside, you will need to hollow the prim, or use more than one prim, to make actual walls you can see.

On the linking thing, a linkset has to fit inside a 54m sphere. If you are working with megaprims, you might have something bigger than that?

And if you're standing inside a solid, non-hollow prim, it's probably jumping all over the place because you're colliding with it.

Check the house in edit (if you can find it)... Mine didn't disappear but went totally haywire with bits vanishing and appearing outside it etc... What it was, was I had transparency (of 2, so it wasn't instantly obvious) checked by mistake.

Edit:
PS, today I opened my first mega prim ever, and nothing happened, so I opened another then after a bit of scanning right back and round with the camera i saw their walls and deleted them from outside...

Uh-oh. That would account for the shaking and blowing apart. Setting a bunch of megaprims physical with overlapping collision spheres could be kinda like manufacturing meth in your basement.
