Flying Boats

Here is another question. I'm looking for a flying boat. Not a plane that floats, mind you but a boat/ship that flies. You know, like a Flying Dutchman sort of thing. Does anyone know where I could find one and/or how the heck I would get started building one? Are we talking some serious scripting here?

Thanks for the patience with the noob. *grin*

I've got a leaf boat (combination boat/skyboat) for sale at Canyonlands in Davenport. I can't remember the coordinates, but just go to Davenport and look for the pine forest. Another option is the "Cloud Ivy", by Ananda Sandgrain.

I don't think there are any classic sailing ships scripted for flight that are for sale, though.

Believe me, I've been tempted by both of those. *grin* I will probably end up picking it up but, as you guessed, I was looking for a classical sailing ship.

Hrmmm... looks like I have a project.

Maybe I'll start with a flying canoe... *grin*

Hi Jacko,

I recommend Garth's Pirate Galleon which he's selling on Fairchang Island. It's incredibly beautifully done, and I've had so much fun flying round SL assailing my victims with lots of Pirate-speak (I'm a non-violent pirate.)

Of course, it's a tad too big for scripted flight (300+ prims) but it works well as a series of attachments; the only disadvantage being that all attachments are phantom. Actually, come to think of it, maybe that's an advantage for a ghost ship!

Now where did I put that piece of Wagner....?
