HELP!
How can I fix the transfer permission problem?

My group was building a set together. The builder took a copy of everything after linking all the prims and found props together. But it shows we lost the transfer right. Is there any way to fix the permission?

Well, there is a way, but if i told you i might be censored by fellow forum members for revealing things that could be used to not only help, but harm.

With great power comes great responsibility...Which is why i am very careful in SL as I can CHANGE THE WORLD!

Jedi, it has nothing to do with ego. Forum rules are very tight about reveling exploits which teach people how to get around various protections in the system. There are ways, but it is frowned upon to put them out in detail and provide a blueprint for theft.

Why do you think it is ego related?

What is wrong with not making information that can be used to snatch content public knowledge?

If it was made once it can be made again.
Does the person with copy have the right to make it full permissions?
Or see the object tab?
Just have them read off or put info in object tab on a notecard so you can see the numbers of path cut, rotation, size, etc.
That is the true recipe for how it was made prim wise.
And next time in future when you and your friends share mod rights and do
group build make sure that every prim is set full permission before any copying
happens.
