I am new to SL and I am quite impressed by what I am seeing. I do have some questions about architecture.
Does anyone know of replicas of famous architecture?
Are there any themed areas ie: Craftsman area, Mid-Century Modern area?
Is there someone willing to take me on an architectural tour?
Does anyone know where to buy designer furniture in the game, such as Herman Miller, Knoll?

Juro Kothari did a replica of the Sears Tower a while back... and Americana (a now defunct sim theme) had the washington monument, fenway park, the empire state building, and the chrysler building.

Brand name furniture hasn't hit SL yet... most of it is user-designed :)

There are a few architectural "themes" still going... check out Nexus Prime, Darkwood, and Taber for examples :)

I believe the Kazenojin build in Gray is based loosely on the Eiffel Tower; someone also used to have a build based on the Space Needle, I think, but I'm not sure it's in-world anymore.

Venice in Bonifacio is another nice theme area, to add to the ones that Lordfly listed.

If you have a specific style or piece of furniture you want, Gwydeon Nomad is a whiz at replicating items in-world from a picture. He made me a few Ethan Allen-inspired furniture pieces that are excellent. Be warned, though, that his stuff is usually high prim. IM him for details, he doesn't play all that much anymore but I believe he is taking on projects.

The base of the Kazenojin Tower in Gray is indeed based on the Eiffel Tower. St. Isidore's Church is a half-size model of the Washington Cathedral (much simplified).
