Modding the Edit Tool?

I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but it is in relation to the edit panel so maybe it is.

I know if you mod the file floater_tools.xml in the SecondLife\skins\default\xui folder, you can change the height of the Object Name box. However I noticed that even with the height adjustment and extra space, the words don't word wrap.

Is there a way to enlarge the box and enable word wrapping instead of it running off to the side like it normally does?

Sorry again if this is the wrong forum to ask this.. but I hope someone out there can help.

Editing of these file types can cause SL to crash and not run. Therefore I would not want to be responsible for someone editing a file only to find they were unable to run SL due to little or no knowledge of what they were actually doing.

You'd have to change the control type to text_editor. Look for another text_editor to see if there are additional properties you'd have to set.

Changing the control type may have unintended consequences, or may not work. For one, if it works at all it'd likely allow you to put carriage returns in the name, and that may cause problems.
