I am using the Advanced Sculptie exporter for maya http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Advanced_Sculptie_Exporter_From_Maya ,
I have no issues generating useful sculpt maps to be used in SL. However I want to fully use the Advance exporter so I can use the primscript to tell how its scaled and orientated in SL etc
But I get lost with the wikis instructions at this point

:
"Now you need only to invoke the primscript command (which listens on channel 500). Create a notecard (any name) containing the Maya-generated primscript, get its UUID, and say:
/500 primscript -script 32fad6a2-630e-aaf0-2659-817ea00b1052
Of course, you'll want to replace that UUID with your own "

Can someone please guide me through this part?
Do I just type my maya generated primscript into the notecard ? How do I get its UUID, what is a UUID?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ok figured the UUID thing too, in inventory right click on notecard and Pick "copy asset UUID"

Sounds like you answered your own questions. Just so you know, though, changes to the server code a few months ago broke the in-world assembly scripts. Your sculpties will turn out the right sizes and rotations, but they won't always end up in the right locations. You'll have to reposition some (or all) of them by hand.
