Anyone else having prims change dimensions when you drag-copy them? Or have them lose a meter or two suddenly, or when yoy next log on? Or have prim textures go to random strange numbers when you change thier dimensions?

It's getting very frustrating to build! I end up having to unlink things, re-adjust all the prims, re-link and go thru it all over again if I ever drag-copy again. And every prim I create and or re-size, I have to go back and change all the texture repeats to 1.0 or whatever. There has been small problems like this for quite some time, but since the last update it's been really, really bad. :(

yeah...been having big time problems with my textures. All of a sudden everything in a linked build will go to either 20.000 20.000 or 100.000 100.000. Especially if I unlink something individually and try to relink it back up. All of a sudden...whoosh the whole durn thing is messed up. And it seemed to have started with this last upgrade.

Yes. Drives me up the wall.
Or should I say, drives me up the size-shifting wall.

Sometimes the change in size is temporary, as if the misshapen prims are placeholders until the correct ones are calculated and rezzed. Weird.

I actually have more trouble with texture repeats than changing dimensions. Sometimes if I set a texture then deselect the prim, it will go to 100/side, usually if the stretch tool is selected. Never screwed up sizes though, guess I'm lucky. Textures are easier to fix.

It's been bugging me a long time, but I've learned to deal with it until they can fix it properly. Only I know its a pain if you had built stuff that are very small scale but with many prims, that's generally frustrating.

I just wish they'd fix this issue soon.

I only noticed it since this last upgrade - but I'm having the same problems.

I've been saying this since 1.4, actually.

Blah. Building is getting to be 'not worth it' with all the hassle we have to go through to re-perfect stuff that's already been tweaked and has just... forgotten.

Ditto. I had a prim that "shrunk" every time I moved my focus to another prim. The way I worked around it was to rotate it 90 degrees, then it stopped shrinking. Luckily this was a wall, as that isn't a good solution with a prim that has any cut, hollow, twist, etc...

One thing I've noticed is that sometimes it's virtually impossible to rotate on a particular axis. You can type the degree of rotation in the specific box.. but it get's "magically" transferred to one of the other axis' box and turns in it too. It can be very VEEEERYYYY annoying.

add them up and we have

2(The difference between me and you) = 0

The difference between me and you = 0/2

The difference between me and you = 0

I never thought we were so similar
