Issue with Object Limitations

Hi all,

I'm confused, I've had 2 unsolved situations where my land primitive allowance has reached it's limits BUT my actual land isn't even up on it's limits (example: I've got several objects in my land, tables/chairs, etc) which sums up to say, 10 items. However, upon checking the Primitive Limitation, it says, I've got 3000/3000 Items. Therefore I cannot create anymore items in the land. How do I solve this? I don't understand, the items see-able by my eyes are right in front of me, and countable yes!

The limits are on prims, not objects, so you have to be sure that you know what you're counting. An ornate chair can have 20 prims or more. Still, it would take a whale of a lot of chairs and tables to go past a 3000 prim limit. My guess is that you have hidden objects that are driving your counts up. Check for transparent objects (Ctrl-Alt-T). Also go over your land carefully, selecting areas to see if buried items light up (Be sure that you uncheck the "Select My Items Only" box first.) If you are the parcel owner, use the About Land tools to see who else may have objects there that you don't know about. Also consider the possibility that there are objects on sky platforms far above your parcel. If you have been allowing visitors to build on your land, anything they put in the sky above it counts against your limit too.
