Hey do any of you know any good sites that have free textures, i dont care of what just textures. so if you can find me a site with lots of good free textures il give 100$lindens for the first person to find a good one.

hey, not really concerned with the 100$ as I am with getting the community more kick @$$ resources... so here we go...
http://www.deviantart.com You will need to register but I promise they dont send any annoying spam or nuffin` you can opt to have them send you a newsletter I believe but its optional. This place has gigs and gigs of both digitally created and photographic textures many in excess of 1200 by 1200 pixels so... high res. ALSO it has TONS of stock photography useful for making objects and stuff. The artists on Deviant are attempting to give real artists a resource other than outrageously priced stock and texture sites and succeeding admirably. Thus almost all of it is free or "e-mail me if you do something cool with this" and I think that SL would definitely fall into that category. Peace and free information to all, -Spider |

best free textures on the net for wood, stone, rock. it's where all my woods come from
And I have quite a number of them already uploaded. So before spending $$ to upload from this site, I'd be happy to give it to you if I already have it uploaded.Also I give away many high quality textures for free. Along with that I have about 9 containment units of textures (total of over 1000 different textures) that I've copied from places that were giving them out two months ago. If you want a box I can copy one for you. I don't know what's in them....but hey, isn't mystery the spice of life?
