I'm having trouble understanding how to use prim composer with 3DS Studio Max. I've looked online for tutorials and can't seem to find any that go into detail. Can anyone help me?

What exactly are you having trouble understanding? If you give more specifics on your issues you might get more detailed help. As it is it's hard to make a guess if someone can assist you. I mean, chances are good, but who knows?
