Great apartments Catherine and Planet! A nice addition to the city. The extra living quarters should no doubt help make this quite the bustling metropolis.

Only just saw this thread.

Catherine: keep up the good work :)

Juro: here's a pic of the apartments I built. Weighed in a at a total of 140 prims for all 14 apartments, base, etc. Not the best pic, but getting decent tower pics does seems pretty tough ;)

Catherine,

AAAck!!!!! I just looked at my email today... looks like all of the objects that I dropped at my new apartment in Cotton Apartments Phase I Miramare (164, 38) Floor 12 were returned to inventory! Is anyone else having this problem, or is it something with me? Do the objects have to be set to "lock" or something?

Thanks,

Artillo

UPDATE: OK my bad! I don't read instructions well LOL I didn'd have the proper group on! :P

Planet, bear with me here...

...at Loki Pico's Upside Down House in Palomarian there are cushions on the ceiling. When you sit on them you turn upside down. It's possible to take a picture while you are upside down.

I would think that it would be possible to sit on something so that you were "sideways." You should be able to take a vertical photo that way to take advantage of the longer part of the monitor screen. Just rotate it in a graphics program to get it right-side-up.

I'll try this out when I get inworld again.

Salazar

(Edited to correct Loki's name.)

Wow nice shot Planet! Aww Planet your working just as hard as me on this project a big oh hugz for you and huge THANK YOU. Planet donated a new Prim-Ary Tower 2 to my free housing project. There have been a few bumps in the road but all in all its becoming very sucessful! I love the chance to meet with the newest residents of SL and see them move from apartment to their first homes. This is a very exciting time. Phase I, Phase II and Phase III are all completly rented. So with inspiration from Planet I bought a little extra land in Clara (ok so it broke me but still LOL) and set up Phase 4! Ahhh country life and a whopping 100 prim limit on all the free apartments! My sincere thanks to Planet and all the residents for your dontations no matter how small they go go twords new land and land fee's to build more free housing. You all are fantastic!

Hugz!

Hiya Artillo;

I am so glad you brought this up! Everyone who is a resident of Cotton Apartment Homes is invited into the "Cotton Free Enterprise" group. They will have the title of "Happy" :D

When placing your objects in your apartments you MUST have your group name active. If you dont see "Happy" before your name in world then it is not active. If you dont know how to activate your name IM me or another resident in world ro a linden and we can teach you how.

I set it up this way so that when I am checking for prim limits on the properties I can return any objects that don't belong to the group. Everyone is only allowed 50-100 prims depending on which apartment complex they live in. I check daily to make sure everyone is within their limits. It is important that we police each other so that we all can have our max. amount of prims for each apartment.
So in other words folks dont worry be happy. (sorry i had to say it lol)

Hugz

Yes I have to agree with you there, Bopete!! Awesome neighbors and amazing views! :) and I finally got all straightened out with my permissions!

OHH BTW, Catherine, I know theres a 50 prim limit per flat, but is there enough overhead in the land for (temporary) stuff like Dance machines, jukeboxes, etc. if we decide to have a party at our apartments??

Cheers!

Hiya Artillo; I have given the limits for each flat based on what the land will allow. If everyone stays in their limits then yes there are ample prims left over for parties :) just clean up the beer bottles when your done lol. Oh and save a cold one for the landlady :D
