I Just wanted to let everyone know that, i guess the lindens are cracking down on people whom have trademark symbols on there property... My boyfriend has the Playboy icon on his build and was told to take it off or by friday his build was to be deleted... what bugs me is there are trademark names and symbols all over world but none get's deleted... what are your thoughts?

he needs permission from the company to earn lindens for dwell based on the draw of the playboy logo. the agreement will also have to stipulate the amount of royalty he will owe if he sells those lindens for dollars.
if the company has a competent legal department, they'll create an account and just charge him lindens up front for use of the logo. then they can sell them.

Honestly I was kinda curious when they were going to start cracking down on these things. I guess your boyfriend was just one of the first. I"ve seen a lot of trademark/copyright violations lately.
