Give your support!

The motive is to effectively establish a stadium for a mulitplayer-style battles which could support the fighters as well as an audience. This would essetially be open everybody. But since the close proximity of many avatars will almost certainly choke up the server, we need ways of preventing the eventual lags. We are hoping that the Lindens will be generous enough to partition off a little server space for these events, mabye creating a seperate sim environment that wouldn't get or create interruptions to or from outside.

Thus far, the plans for this seem epic; creating a permanent (and rather spacious) establishment for fair team combat - this will not just be a one-time event. The competition is to be conducted within rank tiers, as a team wins a fight, they progress in rank and up to the next division - with the winner getting a hefty cash prize and mabye more. Plus, at each tier, your team will then have access to increasingly more sophisticated weaponry and armor (this also means that beginners won't need their own weapons to get stated). But we also want more participants; the more people interested, the better. For those of you out there with godly fighting skills; here is one more chance to show it off. If you would like to join or start a team, just leave a message; or give a shout (or whisper) to one of the PAF officers.

Even if you're not interested in joining, feel free to give your opinion or drop a suggestion.

Erm - Rausch perhaps? Get an agreement from a landowner on the edge of the next sim so you can rez a stand, and you're set...

Aoshi,

Try contacting Pedro Pendragon.

He owns all of Tethys and might be interested letting you guys build a staduim and host some events.

See me in world, I have the alpha prototype arena cage for the Route66 Demolition Derby Game Dev. entry up in Blue. I don't see why this can't be modified for other uses now that the main cage has moved to Game Dev 2.

Anyway, see me in world and we'll talk.
