Simple question

Since search brings up loads of stuff I am not looking for and I dont see it in any tutorial - How do I (noob) create a box/bag etc to put items I intend to sell as a package??

Rez a box. (Right click, Create, Click)

In the Edit menu, click 'More' if it's there. If "Less' is showing, ignore this.

Change to the Texture tab, and change the texture to anything you want, via texture box on the left hand side.

Click to the Contents tab, and drag the things you want in it into the edit menu.

Tada!

The easiest way is to rez a box (any shape will do) and drag/drop the articles you want to sell into its contents. Then, on the General edit page for your box, check the For Sale box and enter a price. Click the "Copy" button if you want to have people receive the box itself -- They will need to rez the box and open it later -- or click the "Contents" button if you want them to receive your items but not the box. (If you click "Copy," they will see a single dialog box to verify that they are getting a box. If you click "Contents," they will see one dialog box for each of your articles.) Then, open the drop-down menu at the bottom of the General edit page and select "Buy."

That's the simplest type of vendor box. You can decorate your box any way you like -- with a picture of the contents, perhaps. When a potential buyer does a mouseover, the price will show. When the buyer click on the box, a window will open to show the contents of the box and its price.

You can be trickier by using GiveContents scripts of different kinds, or you can sell your articles through a commercially-available vendor like HippoVendor too, of course.
