Any ideas on how to select ALL prims on a sim and move them all at the same time?

Thanks in advance for any pearls of wisdom. :)

That depends a LOT on how big the smallest loose prims and linksets are. It also depends on whether or not you need to grab Linden 1-prim plants as part of that.

What I normally do is to start by doing a drag-select across the area, with "Select only my objects" checked in the Tools menu. But this only selects things that are visible at your current draw distance. You can miss small items.

To be sure you fer everything, open the Advanced menu, and activate the rendering option to hide selected objects. This will make each prim and linkset invisible as you select them, with just the edges of the prims highlighted. Move through the area, drag-selecting and shift clicking on anything you may have missed. Then, when you think you have it all, turn off the hide selected objects option, and deselect one thing, then reselect it. most or all of it will resume being visible, and you can now do a take or take copy.

and if you are moving lots and lots of prims at once, MOVE SLOWLY. It takes time to recalculare thousands of prim positions at once, so move a bit, wait for things to catch up, then move again...

Looking at the object total on the land pane helps you know how many you need to get on the edit pane total, too.
