Alright, so maybe SL is too young for this, but what about a Congress?

Each Sim would elect like 3 people that live in it, and they would meet, draft up proposals, etc.?

Shall I go on and further flesh this out, or am I just a moron? :)

Governer Linden is already the Almighty Overlord, why should the residents be concerned with government?

Hmmm... I can see governing bodies for individual Sims, for for SL in general? It seems that for some Sims, particularly Theme Sims, it would be impossible for them to exist if they were subject to the rule of a United Sims of Second Life. However, I can see - for instance - The Free and Independent Sim of Slate electing a governing body and adopting a set of rules inhabitants must abide by.

Bhodi, who just loves the self-governance issues brought up by SL!
