Gattz,
I don't think there are any hard and fast rules for pricing. Some folks price by the prim (say, $10/prim used), some charge by time and others just set a price.
For custom work, I've charged anywhere from $2000 up to $20,000 for large builds.
Also consider: pre-fab or boxed homes go for anywhere from $250 on up to over $1000.
Charge what you feel is fair and what you're comfortable with. Doing a little price research is also helpful.

I mostly do gardens rather than buildings tho i do make special unique houses with estates around and waterfalls builds etc.
Prices vary depending on size of land and also new or not new SL residents and how much they can fairly afford. I have done small builds and waterfalls and interior decor from L$2000 approx up to an entire estate and gardens with buildings in excess of L$50,000. A really large house or build would I think cost between L$15,000-$25,000 on average.
Gardening and waterfall work can range from approx $2000, an average plot being about L$5000. The time it takes me i dont count as I like to do great detailed work. My ready made japanese houses fit on a 512 m plot and cost L$350 basic and with extras packs like walls and gardens and decking from L$75- 250 available.
Hope this info is helpful.

Holy crap. My prices are like Snakekisses, only divided by ten. But then, I'm probably grumpier and less reliable, so it's a fair trade. LF

I don't set a price as to what I charge someone.
My fee is this, "Pay me what you think it's worth." Only ONE person has never pai me, but that's the risk you run.
If your work is reputable and good, you should have no problem with this sort of payment option.
