Posts like this probably surface every day; I'm just another newb stuck in sculptie hell!

Right now the only program I can stand to use without losing my mind is Tokoroten. It was the first I heard of and the first I downloaded. I get the basic gist of it, but whenever I upload and do what I have to do, the finished product doesn't look shoe like. Like, it doesn't have that nice sleek hollow finish; it's just a block with the outline of my shoe shape.

Are there any programs out there that i can use along with tokoroten to create a decent shoe? Please though, I need this in as layman's term as humanly possible, a program that is FREE and extremely user friendly. The only exp. i have graphics wise is with GIMP (in which i am about 95% familiar with), but nothing in terms of sculpties, which is why i turned to tokoroten, hehehes.

Again, I'm as newb as they come, so any links, videos, tutorials, or person advice would be AMAZING! thanks again ^_^

I'm fairly new to shoes too--They are often made of multiple pieces that don;'t have to be sculpties, so here are my suggestions. Take the NCI sculpty shoe class--easy pace, useful, for prim building. Buy freebie shoes and take apart or edit and look at shapes and numbers. Buy some full perm sculptie shoes to do mix and matches. Tokkoroten won't really work for shoes.

Iv'e been trying to make shoes for some time, with very little success. I have been using AC3D. Every time I get something that looks ok I upload it to find it looks terrible in world.

I can not find any tutorials about how to go about it. Sculptie shoe making seems to be a closley guarded secret.

I've made an entire kit of full-perm sculpties for shoe making. In Blender. It was hard.
