I'm not looking for a sculptor to build something I've already thought of - I'm looking to hire a sculptor just to do a site-specific piece for the Bhodi Tree Gallery. Whoever takes the job can have pretty much free range (within reason), as long as what the build both works in the space and is unique.

Any takers?

Do you want something along a specific theme or just anything at all? I've seen a pile of bricks, an unmade bed, even a flashing lightbulb portrayed as "art" in real life. One mans art is another mans junk afterall....

In the best of all possible worlds, I would get to see some other things the sculptor has done, and at least hear her/his ideas for the piece before commissioning it. But once I sign off on the basic concept, I don't expect to have any additional input.

Where's your gallery, Bhodi?

For reference, see the 'High Flight' statue I whipped up for Kazenojin, in Gray. I don't have the coords in front of me, but if you go to Gray and look at the observation deck on the airfield side of the mountain, you should be able to find it easily.

It's not just a pretty statue -- click on the plaque for a notecard.

Feel free to chuck any ideas my way, and we can discuss if you're interested.
