I have so much inventory that is non-modifiable and has buy object on the prim or one prim in the link, so each time you scan over the furniture, it comes up with a $ sign. STOP DOING THIS BUILDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No mod = buy object stays forever.

Hmm, so others can buy your object even though it's not for sale? Or could they just put a fix in the viewer to stop it showing for sale if it isn't?

Tegg what happens is that although the item cannot be bought, whenever anyone places their cursor on the item the 'for sale, dollar sign' cursor appears, then if you click it says "this item doesn't appear to be for sale". The solution is to not select 'buy object' in a non modify item. One should put the item in a prim and sell that with 'buy object' selected, but of course not everyone is aware of this and it will probably just keep on happening more often.

You might want to shop at some better stores. :)

Stop buying no-mod products. If enough people did, people would quit selling no-mod products.

Unfortunately, no-mod is sometimes the bare minimum you can do in order to prevent copycats from copying your products.

No-mod doesn't prevent copycats from copying your products. It does, however, discourage people from buying them.
