Can anyone help me with a window tinting prob?..i am making 1 prim windows, using a metallic frame texture..i need the blank part of the windows to tint, leaving the metallic frame visible. I know its possible, i have bought houses that use this technique, i just have no idea how to achieve the effect in a 1 prim window. I'm guessing it has something to do with the alpha part of the texture..but i'm no expert when it comes to this stuff. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanx

you have a script that switches the texture, all textures have the same frame opaque, but the window parts are 100% transparent, 50% transparent and 0% transparent, basically.

That window you're talking about is not using any window tinting script. In fact, it's just replacing the whole window texture to one that shows the same frame but with a closed/tinted or open/transparent glass.
