hey i figured id try here to find out what im doing wrong. the prim composer is soooo awesome i cant dream of blaming it for my ignorance. My issue is that i cannot resize the prims via the properties menu. granted i have read the suggestion by Shack on his fourms:.... "It sounds like Prim Composer might not be installed properly.“stdplugs/stdscripts/primcomposer” should contain files such as “RegisterCallbacks.ms” and “PrimChangeHandler.ms”. There should also be a directory “stdplugs/stdscripts/primcomposer/include” that has files like “ParamsCommonAll.inc” and “ParamsCommonGeom.inc”.""....Shack Unfortunately they all appear to be there. yet i still cannot resize it is probbly something small im missing. Anyone have any ideas on what i can do to make this work? I soooo want to get into this, im feining!

What version of Max and Prim Composer are you using? And just to make sure we have our terminology straight, when you say "properties menu" are you referring to the Modify tab in the Command Panel or something else?
Also, can you resize by scaling with the gizmo?

im pretty sure i have my terms wrong im a 3ds noob i usually work with maya. i dl the 1_03 but inside the zip is the 1_02 folder. i dled it friday and have been fussing with it since. I cannot resize using the settings under the type of prim you want and just above where you can determine cut/hollow/ect. i can get it to hollow/shear all of that but can get it to resize.

I see the latest version on the DL area is 1.02 and the next version is supposed to be 1.1, so if you are seeing 1.03 somehow, you have something weird there. You might want to redownload and do a fresh install (delete the folder 3DSMAX_HOME\stdplugs\stdscripts\primcomposer and replace with the new downloaded folder in the zip) and see if that fixes you up.
