I am doign the best I can to write this out without being crude:
Here goes...
I have these nipple shields that I have made myself. I wish to attach them to the chest versus the pectoral region only because they have a tendancy to move around too much despite being attached. So, given this...how would I get the shields to properly align on the nipples since I need to do that first before linking the 2 shields then attaching them to the chest.
I say this is a utter challenge based on the fact that while moving the position of the item, my avatar moves her hands to "hold" the item, causing her breast to shift and not stay still so I can get the alignment right.
Can anyone help?

using a pose stand can ease this process somewhat. I will drop a free one on you (i don't remember if it will hold the arms firm however), and there are for-sale ones out there that offer multiple positions (Rickard Roentgen makes a nice one).
This way you can stand relatively still and position things against your body. Many people build armor this way rather than guessing their proportions, they just build on top of their posing body.
I haven't experimented, but does it work attached each one to a different spot? i.e. one to chest and one to spine?

...this is a utter challenge... Am I the only one who noticed this? Building nipple shields in an "utter" challenge. Anyway, as Forseti said, using a standing pose can be very helpful. I highly recommend Rickard Roentgen's pose pedistal. It's got buttons that when touched lock you into various different poses so you can test your alignments while in multiple positions.
