I need help scripting movement of objects for a gathering space. I'm building it for a Cal architecture class and I don't have time to learn much of what would help me develop the space. . .that's where you come in.
I've already rough modeled it out which you should be able to see, but the idea is to have orbiting pod-like workshops that change trjectory due to a couple variables. And a central puzzle/maze zone that has movable planes that change the course. An added bonus would be if chambers could react to occupancy by changing sizes.
Salary is included and negotiable but you just tell me what your rate is. :D

Very interesting. When is the deadline for the completion of the project? I have ample amounts of free time (YAY Turkey Day!) This 'weekend' (starting Thursday), and am usually free on weekends.

In salary terms.... well... you decide :)
I usually like being paid an amount set buy the buyer of my services, as it exemplifys why I should put utmost focus on completion of said project.

Great, your hired. I'll pay you 150$ for each working script you develop.
As far as the deadline . . .Dec. 1st would be great. The only trouble is that I'm going out of town in a couple hours and won't be able to get in the world until Monday. Which means I won't be able to meet up with you in the world and work on it until Monday. I've built a floating pod (but without the floating of course) but I don't have a site so you can't get to that either.
I guess if you could come up with a script to orbit a platform for standing on, that would be a great start. Other than that . . . something that would cause a shape to react to occupancy of users by growing or contracting in size would be fantastic. (by the way the rate I qouted earlier is entirely a blind one which means that bonuses are more than likely). I hope this gives you something to go on. Feel free to email me with questions as well as refering to the image for ideas. Any propositions you may have are welcome.
Hope to hear from you soon.
