Hello.

Having a bit of a weird problem when I imported this

It's a NURBS Sphere using 12 sections/spans.

Correction oriantation is checked.

Did you remember to delete history, and freeze & reset transformations, before you exported the sculpt map?

Also, just an aside, for best viewing I'd recommend using smooth shading instead of flat shading, and smoothness display level 2. From your screenshot, it looks like you're using flat shading, smoothness level 3. So you know, level 3 is more detail than you'll have in SL. Level 2 is a much closer representation to how SL will tesselate the surface. Your expectations of what the sculpty will look like will be more realistic at level 2.

It's just a viewer panel setting, either way, so it won't affect the sculpt map output at all. But it will affect what you expect to see.
