Searched on XStreetSL but no joy as no boolean operators and did not want to slog through hundreds of HUDs and buckets of salt.

Where can I find the Salt HUD?

Or, when in doubt, go to XStreetSL and search for "Salt." That does it.

Click the Search button, the All tab, put "Salt Hud", with the quote marks, the second link in my results is Builders Brewery, click that, reading down the list of items in the search results shows the Salt Hud at Builders Brewery 159 229 26 . It's a sign on the wall. Click the sign.

Also for searching xstreet, it may not have boolean operators, and it apparently cant' deal with "salt hud" in quotes, it does let you use a plus sign in front of each word that you insist must be in the results, and putting +salt +hud in as search terms produces the Salt Hud as the second link returned, So, it's not hard to find the Salt Hud on xtreetsl, just as it's also easy to find it inworld.

I did a search for a salt hud recently, also came up with builders brewery, but I'm damned if I could find it there.

Might go back for another looksie.

It's right there. It's a picture, or perhaps a sign, on the wall.

Once you get the coordinates from the inworld search page that list the objects with their coordinates, use the position indicator at the top of the screen next to the sim name to go right where the object is. Too bad you can't click the object in the search results and either teleport right to it or at least have the location beacon appear. You can enter the coordinates into the map, but that's annoying because of the stupid way the map coordinate entry system works.

As for why it is called SALT, the only clue I can find is a line in a help notecard: "Salt. It will bring taste to the world."

You can also find this sort of thing by putting

salt hud site:xstreetsl.com

into Google.

I suppose one could make on of those Google Custom Search Engines set to just XStreetSl.com.

Might be able to make it just look in the marketplace.
