I'm way to wrapped up in Americana to build or work on something like this, but I thought it would be a really good idea to make an Africa/Serengetti inspired Sim. Maybe a few small buildings but mostly grass, desert and jungle. And bunch of animals roaming everywhere, grazing, playing, frollicking, eating each other, Pooping, running, herding, hoarding, escaping, jumping, sleeping, meandering, etc. Then we could partake in hunting too, and never have to actually kill anything! All different types of animals also, not just hippos. It would be great for excursions! Any ideas?

Nice, i'll put my hippos in there so they can take over the sim and rule all the animals. They don't call the hippo the king of the jungle for nothing.

Is that true???

Hhahaa I don't think that's the case but I could be wrong. I thought hippos were kings of being the butt of jokes and bullying? Elephants are the kings of the jungle. Or Lions. Hippos might be the king of the swamp. I would love to see a leopard or a jaguar in this sim. Maybe a scripted cheetah. Crow

i have a scripted cheetah but it usually moves too fast to see. i'd change the script so it moves slower but i can't catch it and i forgot to save a copy.

From: someone Originally posted by Damiana Domino i have a scripted cheetah but it usually moves too fast to see. i'd change the script so it moves slower but i can't catch it and i forgot to save a copy. Is this really true? Or just a joke? Is there really a loose cheeta in SL? Where is it ranging? How fast does it go? Does it hide? How long has it been loose? I think it's great having actual wild animals loose on the landscape Tell me it's true. Is there a bounty?

ok ok i'm sorry to disapoint you but the cheetah thing was a joke. but now i'm seriously tempted to get Huns Valen's pathfinding script and make a ferocious wild beast to roam around the world roaring and pouncing the unexpecting. anyone who wants to make animals should talk to him about his script. it sounds amazing.

Scripted gators?

I would love that. If anyone is good enough to do this, I could really use them for the sewers under blue. I'd pay you for them of course. Can they bite? Hehehe Crow

Ummm.... Rick, You mean in SL? If so, wow. I must be spending to much time in blue. Where did you see the gators, cause I might have to find me a "beaut" and capture it. I suddenly feel like Steve Irwin. Crow
