I'm having a lot of problems with creating or exporting textures. Looks like I'll have to go back to Zbrush 2 for this part of the work flow.

I recently installed the Mac version, but am moving back to PC for a while -- plugins and utilities arent working as theyre supposed to, and it crashes frequently. I expected this, but was hoping just maybe....
Plugins have to be re-written for the mac too, so at this point, i think its a mac-zbrush-geek-only tool. Im fairly new to ZBrush so im going to stick with tried-and-true while I learn.

Thanks for the reply. As I don't have windows, I am very glad to have a Zbrush3 that I can use. This is way better than 2 for the sculpting and I am not getting any crashes making sculpties. Still using 2 for texturing, works well enough.

sculpting is about the only thing that I could get working correctly in v3 on mac. Painting had glitch after glitch. At least everyone is experiencing similar issues--it'll make them easier to fix in updates.
