Hi there.

I'm trying to figure out a way of making sculpties using cinema4d. Maybe someone can help me about this, because as a result from my searches, there is just 1 german tutorial (and an english translation of it) which is not working correctly.

Well, I hope someone figured this out,

needing extreme help here :)

Thank you !

Minn feel free to IM me in world - happy to take you through it - I have a *loosely strung* pipeline I have done for Cinema 4D and got good results.

Did you go through the DVD you get too, that has some great plug and play examples if you are a beginner (not sure how experienced you are so no offence intended).

At one time there was only 1 tutorial available for C4D and sculpties in SL and it was in German. Now a year later there are a few out there worthy of note. From the SL wiki you'll find http://derek-lerner.com/blog/?p=923 is quite helpful. As well, someone has translated Klaus's original tutorial http://www.ks-3d.de/KS-3D_SCULPTIES_(SCULPTED_PRIMS).htm written in German, into English http://kraphik3d.com/wordpress/?page_id=46 If you also do a google search for cinema4d sculpty or C4D sculpty you'll come up with a few items to check out. I would highly recommend C4D for anyone wanting to jump into a true 3d work environment without having to make a heavy investment like some other packages. The output of renders and animation is as good as anything out there and has been used in movies, tv, and other media for years.
