Hi there everyone - Not too sure if this would be a more appropriate question to post under the "designers" forum but here goes ... Is there a way to make 3D statues or other similar objects in SL? Specifically ... I'd love to create a gargoyle, and have found a great picture of one ... but don't know how to translate it into what I want in SL. I can upload the picture, but that's 2D, and I want much more detail than I think I can get from rezzing and playing with "create" objects. I thought I've seen similar objects inworld, but of course, can't find them now! Any suggestions are appreciated.  discordia Sandgrain |

You'd be surprised at just how much detail you can get out of an object, especially when cut in odd ways and combined with the right textures.
I assume you've attended Building 101, so maybe it's time for a moe advanced building class. Texturing too...

It is most certainly possible to make a gargoyle... I believe Flyk Escher made one during alpha Some people have wing attachments resembling gargoyle wings as well. |

Talk to Crazymonkey Feaver. He has a gargoyle made out of prims that is absolutely amazing.
