Okay, getting embarrassed about asking questions on Blender. Why does the plane sculpt mesh have rounded corners when added and tend towards circular if I add subsurf or multirez levels? Is there a way to bring it in completely square cornered and keep it that way when I increased the vertex count. And to maybe reduce the number of queries here - is there a book on Blender that anyone can recommed? Thanks - again! PS. When I try to bake the newly imported and unchanged plane sculpt mesh I get a Python error reported - ZeroDivisionError: float division. Is my installation screwy?

Head on over to http:/dominodesigns.info - I'm actively seeking questions there to help define what to put in Primstar's user manual The type of subsurf (simple subdiv or catmull clark) will affect whether the corners are rounded or not, but as that's a mesh wide setting you'll probably want to learn how to use crease instead. Select the edges that make up the corner, then press "Shift-e" to control the crease. You can view the crease setting to set a specific value in the transform properties (press "n" to view).
