Ok, created a shape and was going to list on XStreet - As soon as I drag the Shape into the container the icon of the shape in the container changes to that of a skin. Is this something I'm doing wrong? Is the Shape now a skin? I want to list an item but I want to be sure what I am selling IS what I advertise.

SL routinely screws up those little icons. It's a longstanding bug. Don't worry about it.
I would suggest putting the word "shape" in the item's name somewhere, so that customers won't be confused by the icon (not that they'll necessarily see that same icon you're seeing, anyway).

Thanks! I've noticed a few of those glitches myself but wasn't sure if it was me or S.L.

According to a friend who makes shapes, this happens a lot with them, I haven't really noticed it with anything else, but it seems that someone got mixed up between the two when they were assigning the icons. If there isn't one already, you should start a jira for it and see that it gets fixed.

It happened a few months ago with various clothing icons too.... scrambling shirts and pants, as I recall. As Chosen says, the smartest thing is simply to give your articles descriptive names like "Blue Plaid Skirt" or "Angelique Skin." Then people are less likely to get confused when LL monkeys with the icons.
