Coffee Shop?

There should be a coffee shop on every corner. (Or at least near every telehub!)

I love Starbucks, and they have a great almond croissant too.

Ohoh, wish I saw this thread sooner--I've been working on a coffee house recently in Mesede... but more than one in this world is totally a good thing! Let's face it: some of us aren't into the club scene. Coffee houses, on the other hand...

anyhoo, yes.. coffeeshops are groovy to have around. as a matter of fact, i was going to build one in Miramare.

of course, my coffeeshop was going to be styled after the ones you would find in Amsterdam. Alas, my coffeeshop is no longer in planning.. i have decided to dedicate my parcel to my group (Erga Obinex) instead.

i may yet build it someday, but it would be eksewhere.

Stop by CAFE JACK when you're in Miramare and we can chew the fat while we discuss what makes a good coffee shop. It's far enough from the telehub that the throbbing in your head should be less noticeable.

I think it is a great idea. I've been thinking about it for some time myself, just don't have the free land to build it on.

Coffee shops would be a great place to get together with friends and have meetings. Good Luck to you.

i don't know about anyone else, but yes.. mine was going to be directly inspired by Amsterdam coffeeshops.

i still want to make one someday, but my group gets my attention first. in other words, it'll be awhile.. lol

I had a coffeeshop beside the Miramare telehub called "Terrabucks". After a month and holding only one event in it, I converted it to a vehicle shop.

If you can think of a way to make our avatars become "addicted" to coffee, then you'll make a killing!

Highya Cybin, eventually the Cannabis Carnival in Stanford is supposed to have an Amsterdam style coffeeshop. Nephilaine and I had discussed working on it together. Alas, she is quite busy with the casino and pixel dolls.

Maybe you and I could collaborate at some point. I've done quite a bit of research, collecting pics of Amsterdam style ones.

I'm making a giant piano at my place. The back of the piano is going to open to reveal an event stage. I've thought of putting the coffeeshop underneath the stage. Come up with a witty name like "Through the Floor" or something.

btw, Cybin, have you ever been out to the Carnival? Forgive my resinated memory I think we should talk in world.

and as far as the look of Amsterdam 'shops.. i hear ya. i was actually there in 2001! awesome place! ..loved the canals.. the ones in Nova Albion (is that the vity's name?) reminded me of Amsterdam and the reason why i came up with the idea in the first place.
