The Glossary is coming.....

Turtlemoon Publishing is completing work on a glossary of terms meant for newcomers. It contains approximately 200 terms, and will cover popular chat terminology and terms specific to Second Life. This glossary will be made available, in-world, free of charge. There will be a section for advertising, and there will be a nominal charge for business listings. The publication should be available, at the latest, within the next 10 days.

I will soon post the first draft on the forums here for your (hopefully timely) clarifications, corrections and possible additions. If you would like a sponsor listing in the back of this publication, be sure to let us know. We need to have the business name, and/or the proprietor's name (for IMs), a description of the business/service, and a location plus a Landmark. I'll let you know what the cost of the listing will be before you need to commit to the listing. Since the glossary will be - for all intents and purposes - a single permanent edition that needs very little updating, you can be sure your ad will be around for a very long time.

Great idea, Kathy, even the Lindens have talked about how great a glossary of this sort would be. I applaud your um... the fact that you did it. *F5*
