Here's an interesting project - the cross contintental coastal waterway! There have been several people looking to get a continuous waterway from one end of the world to the other, which could be used for boat tours and such.

Here's a partial list:

Mickey Roark
Xylor Baysklef
Harald Nomad
Joan Nomad
myself.

There is a big obstacle to this plan however, and that is Linden land! Just a few areas prevent the completion of this path, among them the most notable is the Plum sim! What are we to do there? It's all Linden controlled, and what is more, for some reason the sea level is different !?!? Should we build locks like the Panama Canal? Can the sea level be brought down to match the rest of the sims?

These are questions to ponder, and perhaps if enough people lend their support to this idea, we can get our coastal waterway!

What do you think?

I think it is a great idea. Sabre Titan is starting boat tours in the SW corner of Shipley and circumnavigating the big island of Shipley, Federal, Stanford and Hawthorne. At least now he can until someone closes the waterway with terraforming.
