I have a really cool sofa, but the default poses in it are not good. Its no mod, so I created an invisible prim and placed it just over the top of the cushions, and added MLPV2 so I could put in my own sitting poses and such. I spent along time and went through with my friends and got all the poses adjusted just right. Everything works great, but the only problem is with most poses in the menu, if you select them first, the poseballs rez inside the couch somewhere. They are not visible to click on. I tried changing the size of the ball prim in the content folder, but every time they rez they are the standard size.
Is there a way to change where the balls rez without impacting the positions of the poses that spent so much time doing? I am not really good at this, but it looked like maybe the script inside the ball prim in contents may control the size and position?
Please, O, please help me!!

Thnx :p

Hi Ally

There is a thread in the Scripting Forum that is specifically for MLPv2 questions. I think in the future you'll have more luck if you post this there. /54/48/270890/13.html#post2415814

Basically with a menu system like MLPv2 there is not a way to get the balls out of the couch and have it position the animations correctly. This is because different animators position the hips in different spots so in order to get the animation sitting correctly on the furniture the balls will at times need to be lowered into the furniture. What I usually tell people is to first choose from the menu a position that exposes the ball, sit on the ball, and then move to the position you want to be in. Someone from the MLPv2 thread in the Scripting Forum (link above) may be able to explain this more clearly.

"This is a property of the animation. While it is in theory possible to fix this in MLP scripts, it would be hard to do, especially without using up lots of memory for poses.

What we do when we face this is to either get the creator of the animation to adjust it, or else to make sure not to use it in the first pose in a menu. Most people know that when this happens they can select another pose first, jump on, and then change to the pose they want."
