Of course, this is why the Lindens have given us property rights. If they get sued for copyright infringement, then they can off it on the SL residents who download and distribute stuff they don't have the rights to.  *edited grammar |

OK let me get this straight: You are selling a device that plays copyrighted songs. You are redistributing those songs with the device. You are charging money for this. And, you are doing this in a public forum.

Oh, and one last fact: You openly admit that Nicko Snow (the owner of that account) actually provided the illegal music to you for redistribution.
So we have here 2 people publicly breaking US copyright laws, using Linden owned servers to stream the music. And they are advertising it on a Linden owned web server. Lindens what is wrong with this picture?
Why risk SL as a whole for this? Your counsel must understand Vicarious Liability. Are you just going to stick your heads in the sand and stand behind your DMCA statement? Do you really want to wait until the copyright owners "File a Notification"? Because I think if you wait until that happens, it is going to be a little more than a notification.
Besides, SL reproduced musics sounds terrible anyways. 10 seconds.. skip.. 10 seconds... skip...

**Yes, there will be an automatic off, it will check to see if the owner is online, if the booth is in the playing state and if that is true, it turns it off. I might have to make it have a 10 min delay before turing it off to see if the avatar just had to reload
**That song list is gonna change to public open source songs...IF you still want preloaded songs, your have to wait
