Are there any other xytext fonts we can use? Mainly, has anyone taken the time to recreate all the characters in the xytext alphabet, upload them, get each's UUID and then compile them into a list?

if your using the single texture version of xy text you can fudge it pretty well using excel (or other simmilar spreadsheet) and a screen shot of it ... can be a pain tho

I haven't done it, but ImageMagick probably could be manipulated to create a Double Letter XyText font with minimal setup.
I personally prefer to use a quicker loading text (single letter - tri-prim) and made quite a few in this format, however none in the double letter to element bit.
Interesting use for a spreadsheet though.. and probably would work, with a little scaling touchup.

Bug Xylor directly about this. The last time I saw him on his plot, he was working on a variable-length font system for XyText, complete with several different fontsets. I'm not sure how far along he actually got, but the writing on the wall was quite interesting to see.
Otherwise, anything monospaced should work.

Here are a few single-texture monospaced fonts I just uploaded:
Bitstream Vera: regular - e9623c61-579e-b1ac-c0e5-fd3a1209558d bold - 9f3a0cad-cdc6-f186-371e-5876837a5b3b
Lucida Console: regular - 2acb30d4-dee6-0d56-611a-5020f51a0751 bold - 0f733e58-d1f4-8494-b5a9-1fc8f85e9f4f
Courier New: regular - 5dc6d435-8bc2-61e8-20cc-93a66649d360 bold - 5c9f63cd-0abc-c818-0d46-47442c320f06
These are suitable for the single-texture versions of XyText, not the 66-texture double-character version.

When you made those textures, was the image all white with the letters in the mask?
What size are the images?

I generated them with the letters white and the background clear at 1024x1024. They are anti-aliased in the mask.

More fonts

Just experimented. I think these three fonts will fit well in monospace, so I'm pushing them over into the grid:
Monotype Georgia Regular: 234182ee-17b2-8b82-3241-e63052ca2b5c
Monotype Century Gothic: 30d3d76d-e98e-d1ad-beed-f605904c69f6
Linotype OCR A LT: 0832cb52-712b-2055-e925-b7d10635e8e8
As always, these fonts require a license to use. If you find yourself using these fonts in any more significant scale than "just potterin' around with XYText", please visit the foundries that make these fonts and get yourself legitimate with a few dollars on each font.
