Yes, it's coming back. Stop IMing me, guys.  So far, the plan is to have the LSL Wiki back up as a third-party site early next week. I'll update later about when that will happen, but it's contingent upon both I and the Lindens having any time at all. I promise, the full thing will be operational shortly. |

Any reason why the wiki is going third-party?
And I propose a scrap of the old database, and copying over the good stuff, since there's a lot of issues with it...

Whatever the reason, thanks for putting in all the work on it! I love the LSL Wiki! I have zero scripting expeience (unless you want to count learning basic back in 1982, and I am pretty sure you won't) and I have more or less taught myself to script using the wiki and a couple of friends in SL who are programmers in rl. So a huge thanks for everything you have done (and are doing) to make it a wonderfur tool for all of us. Do you have like a donation box in world where we can help support it? I would be more than happy to put a few thousand lindens in, as I have made tons of lindens from the knowledge the LSL wiki has given me. |

If there is one thing that the Second Life community, outside the virtual world itself, has given me of value, it is the LSL Wiki. The forums...not so much. But the scripting wiki answers my questions happily, taps into real knowledge, and fundamentally improves my Second Life. Thankfully, I have the mirrors to call upon for now. I'll look forward to the return of the "real" think when it can be achieved. |

Will the new wiki have everything the old one did, including comments? Or just the main articles? And will they reflect what the wiki was at when it went down.
I am using a mirror, but it just doesn't feel right to me.. I miss the wiki.

Will this meen that i can no longer use the in-world help menu to bring up the lsl wiki? Cuz you know linden lab is gona see be like "why is this here? this isn't ours...*snip*".
