Not surei f this is exactly a scripting question as opposed to a device wanted question but as it obviosly involves scripting I though I'd ask here 1st You know how you can buy literally hundreds (if not thousands) of invividualt short poseball animations, perhaps a couple kiss, a couple sit side by side, a couple blowjob even !!! LOL (the couple ones are or course linked to set the positions right) Just animations that would cost anyhtng from free to say L$500 but you don't want your house littered with red and blue poseballs, and of course, then you can only use them in the spot you rez them. Is there a "Standard (ish)" system you all use that you put all your animated couple (opr even single perhaps) poseballs into, then set up relays (like with the Intan system for dances) so using a menu, you can rez any of your poseballs at any location (within reach of a relay prim you click on) anywhere on your owned parcel of land? Surley someone has put together a system like this as it's the kind of device I'd have thought almost everyone would want to have, rather than having balls all over the floor. I looked thru XStreetXL quickly but apart from one device which didn't actually quite sound right, nothing else really seemed availiable. There must be something out there for this requirement.... NO ?

you could use the MLP script but you would have to make it custom for your own home the other way is to hide pose balls but saying "/1hide" or build a hud rez control. i would go with the MLP script cause its only the number of prims your using at the time

The only 2 drawbacks I can see are: 1: I have to preset up each location I may want to use with a MLP rezzer nearby. 2: Unless I have "copy" poseballs (very unlightly) I would have to buy multiple of the same ones for the diferent locations. Unless there's a trick I can use with the MLP system to get round this?

If I were doing this, I would wear two things. I would wear a Chimera and I would wear my Intan Couple Dance Ball. The Chimera would allow you and your friends to dance all your solo dances without rezzing balls. The Intan would allow you to rez couples dance balls wherever you are (assuming you have object creation persmissions in that location.) You would then be able to dance with your partner all lined up.
The newest version 2 Intan Couple Dance Ball allows you to wear it, not the version 1. Type /88STATUS in local chat near your Intan if you don't know what version you have. if it is still version 1, go to the Intan Eksotics store and get your free upgrade.

Ok, being a bit dim here, but I thought when you used (or at least when I have used it) if you move the MLP prim that controls the ball rez positions then you have to re-set every position so the animtaion takes place where you want it (in relation to the controlling prim) If you have it as a HUD then where on earth does it rez the prims? Where you happen to be looking at the time?

We can certainly help you create or tweak such a system. Otherwise maybe you'd have as much luck asking in Products Wanted or something, eh?

If you wear the MLP as a hud, be sure to link it to another prim. Set the other prim as the parent, and then position the MLP prim at 0,0,0 relative to it's parent. Now you can move the hud all around your screen, rotate it or whatever.. and you won't throw off the "relative to rezzer position" calculation. it will always be relative to your agent.
(I made one of these the other day, for impromptu liasons.. and I have to say, I'm REALLY impressed by the quality of the recent MLP rezzers.... now about those animations...)
The balls will rez relative to where you were standing when you hit rez. From that moment on, it seems that they reposition relative to their starting position, not to the rezzer. That's at least the way that the one I was given, worked. So, stand on "a rug" and hit rez. from then on, the positions are relative to where you were standing.
What I did, was make a 10x10x25 prim, with a circular hole at about 80%. Then I created a 7x7x0.01 "rug" that I placed in the pit. Then I applied a "building grid" texture to the rug.. which had circles painted on it from the center. Then I walked to the center of the rug, stood on the crosshairs, and faced north. After pressing rez, I moved to the first pose. With an alt on ball-2, I adjusted each position so that the heights matched up, then I dragged the posed avatars back to the center of the rug, rotated us until our heads were to the north, then pressed "save" on the pose, and moved to the next pose.
The MLP item I received took about an hour and a half to go through like this. Pose by pose, repositioning each "position" so that it worked "on the surface I was standing on".
Now, if I encounter a bed (as an example) someplace where I can rez (even for 1 minute), all I have to do is stand on the bed for a moment, and face the head of the bed, and press rez. A couple of the poses won't be perfect, but it's not bad at all when you're hanging out someplace and really just wish you could cuddle by the fire (or.. you know.. whatever.)
VERY handy to have, and it was totally worth the time for setup. Only downside is, being relative to your agent's position at rez... if you wear lower/higher shoes or a taller/shorter shape, the poses will be off.

Thanks for all your help and suggestings I know this not the place to chat about this, but just to say that I got hole of the new MLP v2 last night and had a VERY quick play about. and think it might do once I learn how to set it up Only puzzle I had what I rezzed one of the demo couple poses (sitting) and edited the positions of the 2 balls and saved position, which seemed to go ok, until I selected this (now set) sitting position again and whilst the balls were in the correct orientation and distance apart etc etc.. they were closer to the main MLP prim than I had set. Almost as if MLP can only rez it's balls say 8m away (ish)

From: Piggie Paule Almost as if MLP can only rez it's balls say 8m away (ish) I have not personally used the MLP system but have been developing something like it, and I think the practical limit is 10Meters to rez the balls, anything beyond that and you have to have the script move them into position.
