Hi,

I was banned from a place but I don't know why. what is the process of bannishement.

1. Do we receive an alert that explain
2. Is is possible to have the reason. Because I am going to create a new account and that can be happend again with this new account.
3. is it possible to be unbanned. ( forgivness ).

Banned without explaination is non sense ! for me.

If it was from a private owned place sorry no you dont have to be told. The owner of a sim/area/business can ban or exclude who ever they wish and not a thing you can do. Making an alt to go back t me is childish if you are banded accept it and move on not like there are not many other places in SL you can go . As for being unbanned maybe if you IM the owner and explain what you did was wrong ( thought as you seem to not know what you did wrong rather hard to do)

My advice get over it and move on

Thank you for your answer.

The place was 151.106.36 Franks place ...

How can I find the owner. I accept ( more or less ) to be banned because I don't know why. In a way I don't care but in an other way it is frustrating.

who can bann ? the owner or other people ?

Was it a PG sim and you were not acting as one should in a PG place ?

From my own experience, owners usually do not give an explanation for banning. The attitude is atrocious. People treat each other like cattle in SL. Alot of them seem to be
angry people. Some are just ban happy. As for coming under an alt,why do it?
That is just giving them more business. Give your worth to someone else that will appreciate it. Thought I do not find it childish.

In general, the best policy for handling griefers is eject/ban/AR without explanation (mute is optional, but communication is best avoided). The griefer knows why he was banned, so communicating with him just gives him another opening to try to mess with your head. They usually don't come back when you employ this policy.

The OP does not sound like a griefer. Assuming he's not, explaining in an IM to the owner he does not now why he was banned and a polite request for the reason is his best chance of straightening the issue out. It may or may not work, since an owner or his delegate can ban from his property for any reason or no reason and doesn't have to explain, and since some people are indeed ban happy.

I love Franks, it has a great policy, Do as we say or dont come here at all,
But they do have great staff who normaly would explain things before you get yourself ban.

Meh I got banned from a store and didnt know it till I tried to go there to slap an mm board, I imed the owner and she said I was rude to someone in midnight mania chat, later changing this to my being rude to a store owner and saying that us store owners stick together, humm I tried to explain that I do not 'chat' in those groups I post mm boards only, as chatting isnt allowed but she wouldnt listen to me, I then promply gave her the name of my main alt and told her to add her to her ban list as well as I never want to go to her store again, as I dont want to spend money at her store even accidentily, so yes there are ban happy people out there and yes loads more stores to spend money at ;)

Sorry to say the answer is right. I know of one place you dont have to do nothing to be there its a rp sim. big brother will ban you if you look at him crooked even people so called big brother dont know the person and they will ban. sorry it is cause rp could be great in that sim if big brother were not there it could be good historical rp but the owners alow big brother to rule.
