What i can't seem to find anywhere in the LL information released or in the discussions is with the new premier price that will be charged for OS sims, where is the new level of support? Does that mean the allowed prims will go up to HALF a full sim? Does that mean the support and service outlined in the OS agreement will go up to offering more when needed?
You can't double your costs and not expect to offer at least that in return on the services. Address this issue and let us know what we can now expect with the higher tier.

Ban bots.

Sad thing is this move was clearly thought through. And LL feel that its a win-win situation for their cashflow. I feel they have miscalculated how much of SL has been founded on goodwill. That goodwill has now surely been lost and will only make SL more vunarable to competition. Sadly, I believe this is a good thing. Its not hard to program a 3d simulation with or without their scaled down opensource versions. First company to do this have my full support. My business partners have just agreed for me to have an allowance of £10,000 quarterly, that I was going to use to buy land in SL, but I wont now, as I dont think this price change make's the land have as much resell value. For all I know all sims could get the 66% rent increase at will. For $1200 a month i could afford to have my own IT wizard create a mini SL with less lag and better customer service.
This is going to be a massive negative spiral and amounts to more artifical scarcity designed to make SL go into a recession inline with the real world one. Thanks for nothing.
I never have been able to work out why SL value their bot client base so importantly. Surely that creates more of a resource bottleneck then people using opensims for housing. Do you really think we are dumb enough to beleive we should be burdened with the financial responsibily that is obviosly due to mismanagment bt LL.
The terms of the openspace sim where clearly open to interprement. And thats clearly what people have done. Made up the rules. Why not just set software limits on the sims to acceptable limits. It not our fault that LL only wants to operate within acceptaple profit margins of more then double veriable costs.
PROBLEM - SOLUTION - CONTROL

Thanks for messing up a product some of us loved and cared for sincerly.

Anybody who can buy an openspace is already at conceirge level support. Except for enterprise support, which is something like US$25k, conceirge support is the highest level they offer.
