The REAL SOLUTION!

The real solution to me is

1 no increase of prices in any way

2 no decrease of prims of any way

this means stay to the original product that was offered and promised ...

3 limit avatar access to 1/4 of normal sim

4 limit script latency max

5 forbid use of temprezzers

6 limit use of heavy textures

this would solve all problems of "Misuse" done by some people and would solve all Hypotetical Problems that LL should have technically!

that way there wont be no more problems technically and so no reason to change the status of things and rise prices so high ....

Unless of course LL has some other ideas of how to rise new funds...

Seems like a mostly sensible solution to me. If the issue is resource limitations that's a technical issue and requires a technical solution.

Right technical solution for technical problems ....

I donmt understand why a money solution should be the technical solution .....

also I dont see how just putting limits on those openspaces could cost any kind of money I guess....

I agree with this, as long as the prim and script limits are not too draconian.
In addition, LL should look at cutting costs instead of increasing price. In particular, it seems there are some major bugs that are effectively DDOSing the asset system, which would account for far more resource usage than openspaces:

this is all very interesting, but don't you think you've been told what is happening and that's it?

There's no technical problem (not because of this decision), so proposing technical solutions to solve a problem that doesn't exists ....[....]....
It is a "business" (money) issue, they want more money... this is the (only) reason of this price increase.

PS: there are plenty of technical solutions that would solve these (so called "abuses";) matters, that would make happy both parties, but again the "abuse" is not the issue here.

If you rent, leave the openspace - look for a better, more cost effective place.
If you own, revert back to a regular sim or cut your losses and run.

Period. LL has made their bed and said what's what so now they get to lie lie lie in it.
