You don't have to comment on this. I'm only ventilating my frustration. Increased tier will mean I can't afford my sim any more. And that means it's the end of my dream. I always wanted my own sim and the open space option was what I had been waiting for. I didn't care about bad performance because I finally could have a sim designed by myself. I will have to sell if tier increases and I'm not sure if I want to go back to a normal sim where I don't have the possibilities of landscaping and texturing as I have now. It certainly will be less fun in such a place.
When I bought the sim I asked the estate owner if there were any restrictions. The answer was I could do with the sim what I wanted... no restrictions. I'm not a heavy user. Most of the time the sim is empty. Once a week me and some friends have a party. And yes, we had about 20 people in at the same time once or twice... for about 2 hours. We didn't have any problems and I never needed LL's support. If we caused problems to others because it had an influence on performance in their sims, I would like to apologize. It's likely it won't happen again...
As I said before, I don't know if I'm interested in buying a smaller plot in a normal sim because it will be cheaper. It won't be designed like I want it to. There will be neighbouring places with buildings spoiling my view. It won't be the same as what I have now and it won't be as much fun. I'm seriously thinking about quitting SL completely if this will happen, a decision that will break my heart for other reasons...
