I have been a fee paying member in S/L since July 2007 and in this time I have watched S/L disentegrate slowly into an inept shambles of non stop glitches and bugs. Fine those I can live with just about.
I own 2 Open Sims which are joined and were bought for myself and S/L wife to live quietly, privately and undisturbed in. Both sims are private with no access except to us, they are simple forested and beach affairs and have taken 4 months of painstakingly loving time to terraform and beauty.
Now Linden Labs decides due to overload of servers (JOKE) to up the fees to nearly double what they are now. I have some good suggestions posted here to combat this so called overload, but as usual I doubt they will ever be implemented as LL only looks to one thing.... ITS CASH FLOW and how to fleece us. For overload look to increased numbers entering S/L and and quite frankly your overloaded bug ridden grid. Such greed, ill thinking stupidity sums Linden Labs up I am afraid, instead of fixing stability they add little new viewers with pretty colours and add ons which just add to the frustration of harcore players like me. I am quite frankly disgusted at this money grabbing suggestion and if it is implemented will not only throw the 2 sims back to Linden Labs but will cease to pay anything into Linden Labs again, as I can sustain a life here by DJ'ing alone.
I strongly suggest the so called braindead Hierarchy that run Linden Labs like Trumpton to look carefully before implementing such changes before they commit suicide as they will start a migration from a once great game to other sites that are slowly appearing on the web.
