It will take 10 days to convert my watersims into regular sims so I then can sell the whole place, Linden tells me
10 days to press a button or two on the keyboard???? So that ends with that I have to pay tiers for my watersims that I have cleared out one more time while i wait for this thing that will prob take 1 min to fix.

It doesnt take 10 days to push a few buttons... the 10 days (or whatever the lead time may be and it varies due to the backlog at any particular time) is due to others in line to have thier support tickets taken care of that placed them before you did.
Support tickets that are handled are more than just opens to full conversions.

"Tickets submitted by Concierge-level Residents are routed to a special area and typically feature quicker response times."
So when you not have that "great" service they give to Concierge-level Residents, how long do you have to wait then if you send in a ticket? A year?

i have always had fast support when needed. A reasonable person would expect there to be a backlog of manual open space to normal sim conversions going on. Especially since it is likely open space sims will become history since the higher price does not justify "legal use" of the sims and there has been no statement saying a $125 a month sim can be used for anything.
The entire thing is a shambles.
LL should have just canceled open space sims completely.

It has always been ten days for transfers and conversions. When I bought my three sims in July, I was told the ten days was because they had 200 to do and it took half an hour to do each one. Well I did some basic sums and concluded that for $100 transfer each, they should surely be able to afford some more staff! Abandoning sims is apparently instantaneous ... no 10 days wait! what's more they can't just be "converted". e.g. merging 4 in to 1 it would be great to be able to elect the one staying and just have it converted without removing everything first. But I guess it will be like when the change in the OS policy came about. Rather than just reducing costs for recently bought OS ones, we were made to get rid of everything, return the island then wait..... then rebuild. We know OS can be moved as everytime they restart they switch servers. So wouldn't it be good to take it complete off an OS server and move it to a full one flicking the necessary buttons to "convert" it.
