G'day Although it appears like a game in some sense there is no Goal to or target to completion. Its a 3D virtual world where you can build, listen to music, chat with friends. Its free so just hit the download button on the main website.

How do people pick this forum to post in?

You'll be likely to get more responses if you post in the Resident Answers forum.

But prefer correct responses with out the flame replies.

This forum is easily picked from the main web page. Its in a better format ,easy to use and read and has been operating since I have been here Mar 07 , I would guess longer.

"Resident Answers" is a sub-forum of forums.secondlife.com - i.e. it's part of this vBulletin forum.

Resident Answer's url is:
/327/1.html

Residents Answers description is:
"Where you can ask other Second Life Residents for help on a variety of topics. Before posting, please read "About This Forum" at the top. :)"

The sub-forum that this post is in is called " Openspace Announcement Discussion". The description of this Openspace Announcement Discussion" forum is:
"Discuss the Openspace Announcement with Jack Linden."
This Openspace Announcement forum is a bit obsolete at this point, it having been started around November of 2008.

You appear to have misunderstood what I said. Presumably you mistakenly thought I referred to "Second Life Answers", which is part of the Jive-Blog-thing at blogs.secondlife.com.

Feel free to post about topics totally unrelated to OpenSpace sims here if that suits you, but if you want to avoid it, all you have to do is scroll down a bit farther to get to the other forums - Resident Answers for miscellaneous topics, Scripting Tips for scripting, Texturing Tips for texture related questions, etc.

Forums.secondlife.com - this vBulletin forum - or something closely resembling it - has been around a good bit longer than since 2005.
