Let me refresh your memories when SL reduced its pricing for regular estate set up fee's from 1675K (if thats accurate and been a while sinse I had to recall the old price) to 1K USD.. First, SL totally screwed those that had purchased any sims prior.. I own 4 sims, the first 2 cost me 1275K (again, there abouts) and the second 2, 1675K. Now given the grandfather clause, yes, I pay as well, 2 different types of tier fee's, but its still nothing to be happy about. The first 2 at 195USD and the other 2 at the current price of 295USD. But whats the kicker, is the value of the sims I own.. Do the math and see the loss of their values, and what I paid for, and what my chances are for breaking even if I ever decide to sell my 4 sims, which would be zero chance of anything. Welcome to the club Openspace sim owners.. The club of; rise and fall of your invested sim value.. That you have no control over.. Hey SL/LL, is this real estate we're paying for?

All of you that are getting this price increase for Openspace sims have absolutely nothing to cry about !!!

To top it off, all these Openspace sims have severely hurt the rental market for those, such as myself, that own regular sims and rely on the lot rental market to help make ends meet.. Its so bad, I actually have to take a loss with rent pricing and no chance of profit, and moreover I cant break even, eventually ending up to still pay out of pocket to cover the rest of the monthly SL tier fee's. Yeah.. I have a few choice words I'd like to say right now, but I want this to be posted.. grins

Ya know, ya can tell me; "then why did you by the sims." blah blah blah blah. Same reason everyone else has.. I really enjoy SL a lot and yep, if others can make a lil pocket change at this, why cant I. Then again, I'm not making any profit.. I must be the idiot here.. Investing my money into a stupid game.. But I'll take this habit over the other potential bad ones that are out there. But dont get me wrong, I too am severely upset over their pricing.. SL makes 40 million a month !!.. From US!!!

Ya figure we all would get some customer appreciation somewhere down the line.. But naw, we still get the shaft...Hell.. I been at this for 4 years now. And trust me, SL/LL has the money to make our SL world 10 times better than what it is now, and without another price increase and without SL/LL receiving any loss. And thats actually with reduced pricing. But as its said, you can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see what goes through first.

Back to the point.. All these Openspace sims have severely hurt those in SL that own regular sims, by taking the money from the regular sim owners pockets and simply moving all income into the profits of SL/LL. They certainly havent hurt SL/LL economic income, just severly hurt those in SL that have invested so much of their own personal money.. The same money thats made SL what it is today. Heaven forbid if the investors of SL/LL took a loss of prifit for one month.. GASPS!! By the way SL/LL, what are your economic bail out plans to help your valued customers in this time of financial crisis?

I know one thing for sure... If I keep talking crap on SL/LL I might lose my account and sims.

People.. Stop your complaining.. Stop making groups in protest.. Its not gonna help you at all.. We are not valued customers.. Only our blind investments are. But hey.. love my sims Second Life.. Love the opportunity to be creative.. Thanks!! Hell.. I pay almost 1K a month to be creative.. bling bling!!

So Openspace owners.. Be happy that your tier fee's and set up fee's are increasing.. Atleast your gaining value. Unlike all the regular sim owners thats been through 2 and 3 price changes. DO I HEAR 4 ? Heck, one fine day you'll wake up, look at the SL blogs/forums and find out that you too have paid more and more for your half-assed sims and then, SL drops the price in costs... Ahhhh.. gotta love that american dream.. bling bling!! Even if it means screwing over those that believe in whats going on in SL and want to pay into this VIDEO GAME.. Right SL/ LL? UM, who are the investors again?

Now these comments of mine might have just costed me my account and sims, but hey.. I think we still have freedom of speach in SL.. But that'll be at a price too one day in SL.. Right SL/LL? OH wait, ya already charge us for abuse reports.. my mistake.

And by the way Openspace owners.. Ya watch, soon ya wont be able to rent your land on your half-assed sims.

Godspeed and keep reaching for the stars in SL.. Just have lots of money with you.

Well, I was told the same. The landlords rented out the OpenSpace sims so people can live there, wihch in effect means that you have more traffic and more traffic means slowdowns. So yeah, it was the logical step to increase the price tag for these kind of sims, so LL can get better servers and people would stop complaing about lag.

Its really intresting that all those people complain and demand that LL should be more Customer orintated and should stay with the current pricing, wehn on the same time demanting better support, lower lag and more prims and whatnot.

So, I belive the same people, if given the choice to have the same pricing, but 200 people working at LL would get fired and sims get closed or having to pay more, would choose the 200 people to ge fired. Where is the moral in that?

Be glad the money you guys will spend, will be used for better hardware.

Papa think about what your saying here, 1. It's wrong that you were screwed 2. It's good everyone else is getting screwed now.

Naw.. I'm expresing sarcasim here.. Of cours I think this is wrong, what the Almighty Lindens are doing.. But I also think when the LL made Openspace sims, it was the wost thing they did to the people in SL. It was only a matter of time before they eventually screwed you, Openspace users, too. I've just showed my end of this in how I got screwed as well, and Openspace users, ya think ya got the shaft, just be glad ya havent bought into SL as I have. So again.. I completely feel for all of ya.. I know your frustrations.
